About Guru At Home Canada
We match students across Canada with a tutor for live, one-on-one online lessons, from kindergarten to Grade 12.
Who We Are
Guru At Home is an online tutoring platform that connects students with experienced tutors for live, one-on-one lessons. Our tutors are based in India and teach students in the United States, the United Kingdom and other countries around the world.
Guru At Home Canada brings the same approach to Canadian families. Lessons follow your province's curriculum, are scheduled in your local time zone and use your child's own homework, worksheets and tests. You can see the subjects we teach on our homepage.
What We Believe
As a parent, you want your child to understand their schoolwork and feel good about learning, not just get through the next test. We believe the best way to do that is one tutor, one student and lessons built around where your child actually is.
If your child is struggling right now, that is perfectly okay. Every student learns at a different pace, and a patient tutor can make a big difference.
How We Work With Families
One-on-one, every lesson
Your child is the only student in the lesson, so the tutor can slow down, go back or move ahead as needed.
The same tutor each week
Your child keeps working with a tutor who knows their strengths, gaps and goals.
Your curriculum, your schedule
Tutors follow what your child's class is covering and teach at times that suit your time zone.
Kindergarten to Grade 12
Math, English, French, science, coding and Hindi, plus homework help in every subject.
